Texas Military Forces
Historical Foundation

The Texas Military Forces Historical Foundation is the nonprofit, 501(c)(3) educational and fundraising organization that supports the development of The Texas Military Forces Museum at Camp Mabry, Austin, TX.

The Foundation’s mission is to provide financial support to fund construction of the Museum; acquire, preserve and maintain historic artifacts, equipment, and weapons; development and expansion of Museum exhibits; and a host of educational and living history programs that tell the story of the Texas Military Forces in the Texas Revolution, the Texas Navy, the Texas Republic, the Mexican War, the Battles along the Indian Frontier, the War between the States, the Spanish-American and Philippine-American Wars, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Cold War, Peace Keeping Deployments and the Global War on Terror.

We believe that people should not have to pay to learn about the sacrifices our soldiers, their families and loved ones have made and continue to make, so admission to the museum is always FREE. As such memberships to the Foundation, donations to our campaigns, and sales at our store fund the activities that support our mission.
